How to Clear Cache and Cookies

Below are the steps to clear cache and cookies in the most popular web browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari.

Google Chrome #

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Go to Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose a Time range:
    • Select All time to remove everything.
  5. Check the boxes for:
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  6. Click Clear data.

Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac).

Mozilla Firefox #

  1. Click the three-line menu in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Navigate to Privacy & Security.
  4. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data.
  5. Click Clear Data.
  6. Select:
    • Cookies and Site Data
    • Cached Web Content
  7. Click Clear.

Microsoft Edge #

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner.

Apple Safari #

  • Go to Develop in the top menu.
  • Select Empty Caches.
